I think is funny the way they critized Bielsa, I think you need to fully understand the language to hear how eloquent he is, in describing Football, not throgh some roughh translation or from someone who understands the language very little

Oh Lalas $hut Up! You are full of it! You were ok with GGG and this is is what it is with GGG. Stop bashing Canada who qualified on top for last WC and GGG could not. The fans were saying GGG was not the answer and were not heard. But then US Soccer rehired GGG. So stop bashing Canada. We wish we were Canada going forward and looking at future instead we have so called golden generation who can’t scrape a win. Prefer canadian players who may be scrappy trying to get a win. Props to Canada going further than Mexico and US and now being the only CONCACAF nation still in Copa America. This US team is soft, lacks passion, grittiness, all the Canadians have and the difference is on the field.

I completely agree with Alexis Lalas. 100%. accurate. Roberto Martinez was forced or bullied into keeping CR7 on the pitch even though CR7 was performing poorly. CR7 is a great player but also he is egomaniac, egotistical and selfish. He put himself before the team and Portugal paid the price.

22:05 Excellent Point 👍 This applies to the USSF / USMNT too. Thought US Soccer didn't win World Cups yet (Well the US Women did, Sorry about that).. it is necessary for the USMNT under any coach to maintain certain level no matter what. Example: You don't play the Copa America in the United States if you're the USMNT and not Win certain number of games. I think the standard that must be applied by the USSF in this example is the level that Canada reached or will still reach. IT'S COMPETITION. If you Stop competing with those who bested you then you become expandable. Any USSF official that doesn't accept the responsibility of COMPETING with that's realistic becomes expandable (either resigns or gets fired, or gets demoted). This is how the American System works in the private sector or the government. We don't keep those in leadership position who fail frequently or refuses to compete with what is best in the immediate surrounding. Especially if you're playing a competition at home. US FANS don't play that, they actually hate it.

Clearly they have never watched a South American game. Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, Paraguay all play the same way when it comes to Copa. What we watched was a typical South American game. Never fun. Never. Extremely physical. I'm glad Ney didn't play the game, else Uruguay would have handed his other leg in his hands. Simple.

Ronaldo didn’t perform at his best but he got an assist. If you saw the games you might have noticed Ronaldo was constantly making forward runs and not receiving a pass. The passes that he was on the receiving end of were usually in tight spaces. He was constantly ignored when he was in good positions. Honestly that Portugal team is so bad they will disappear once Ronaldo retires. He missed a few good chances no doubt but he’s definitely still their best player, some of the others might be a bit faster at this point because he’s 39 but he’s still the most talented player on the team.

We need patience. Dorival took over 8 matches ago and Brazil is in transition from a previous generation of players to this new one. The team needs time to build chemistry and gel. I know we fans want to see Brazil dominating but there’s a process to get there. The one positive is that even in the state we’re in, teams that are “playing their best” could not beat Brazil.

Anyone who thought that a Brazil Uruguay match was ever going to be free flowing attractive jogo bonito knows nothing about these teams. The truth is that it’s always a battle with Uruguay never having the talent of Brazil but countering that with grit. It’s that simple and that’s exactly what we saw.

Wash your mouth with soap before you speak about the team with 4 stars in their jersey. Uruguay is in semis, USA is not, end of story, pretty or ugly you go and you win, something Lalas never really did much when he played, he only became famous because of his hair and beard...

I think the problem is rather that they did NOT talk about Uruguay, , which I find very disrespectful. If you are going to get mad, I think you should get mad about THAT. But first and foremost, calm down. Read the other comments: nobody here is screaming or saying things such as "wash your mouth," (which besides being unnecessary aggressive, does not make much sense in English -I'm Uruguayan, so I understand what you mean). Being aggressive and disrespectful is rarely a good way of asking other people to be respectful.

CR7 got no serrvice. He is not 29, but 39. He can thrive only if you put enough balls into the box. Portugal created 4 half chances in 90 mins. Played the entire match passing to the side and back. Not a single cross to the head in the box. If you want CR7 to help, you have to supply him with passes. He is not a midfielder to track back, take passes in the middle of the field and run past defenders. But he is anyday a better bet than Jota, Leao, Bruno or anybody in that Portugal team. Only Vitinha and Pepe stood out in the entire tournament.

well you see I have been a Ronaldo suporter all his carreer but not this game, we have to objective and he did not helped in any way possible the team, Portugal was clearlly playing with 10 man, Ronaldo is not running to stretch the defenses, they were very confortable with him there, and he is not creating the spaces for other behind him to have more creativity, and he is ocuppying sapces that in the end block others, when he had the ball he never created any moment like when he was younger we would create or a younger guy there could try to do, but when u are there so no possibility from a younger guy could be seen, I blame the manager I can see that we could have started but no more than 65 minutes after that out, or play the last 30 minutes coming from the bench with more fresh legs maybe we could have stretched more the defenders...but well they are out, I hope now it was the last game for the national team, he should know there is a time to end, we can continue his carreer but where he his now on arabia or similar place one more year, the decline now is going fast has it was very clear to see in top level competitive fottbal is over for him, facts dont lie. my opinion just

it was embarrassing ... I really have pity for Ronaldo, hes trying to break records but in the end they won't matter,... for example, before Ronaldo had the most goals, Ali Dae (I think that's the correct spelling) had the most goals and no one was giving him "goat" shouts, no one cared,.. same will go for Ronaldo, ... and the reason is, goals only matter if you have something to show for it, ... Ronaldo has no WC, and in fact he embarrassed himself on the biggest stage .... he will NEVER be included in the GOAT conversation with Messi, Maradona and Pele unless he wins the WC,... that is just facts, I know Ronaldo fanbababies will comment and cry, but that's just reality,... name one other area of sport where someone is cemented at the greatest ever WITHOUT winning the World Championship in it ... I rest my case...
